The Knitting Room is CLOSED

 

The Knitting Room is closing before the end of March.

 

We regret to inform we had to make this decision. It was not easy.

 

Our main purpose was to create a community around knitting and this goal was successfully achieved. We made so many new friends that will remain for life.

 

But on the business front, things were not so rosy even before COVID. For the most part, we had to work hard to pay our rent and the only reason we could pay our bills during COVID was because of the programs from the Federal Government. In addition to that, let's just say that a small minority of customers makes the whole retail experience not very rewarding.

 

We will not be renewing our inventory during this period and the sale will be progressive as we come near to the final closing date.

Also, unfortunately, due to COVID we will not be able to resume any classes.

 

Thank you all who contributed to our small community. We provided the space and you people made this group so special. A big thank you!
